At Kiddy Korner, Tina Matthews has been providing quality family child care since 1996, creating a warm, nurturing, and personalized environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to learn. With a CDA Credential, Bachelor’s Degree, and Master’s Degree, along with her experience as a former Lackland FCC Provider, Tina brings a strong foundation of education and professional experience to the children and families she serves. Her commitment to early childhood education continues through her journey with NAFCC accreditation, reflecting her dedication to maintaining high standards of family child care.
Tina’s philosophy is centered on recognizing and respecting every child’s unique personality, needs, interests, and pace of development. She believes children thrive when they have the opportunity to learn directly from an experienced educator who can provide individualized attention, meaningful experiences, and consistent encouragement. At Kiddy Korner, children are supported in developing confidence, kindness, independence, and a lifelong love of learning while families are welcomed as valued members of the community.
